Hey people! Wow, time flies to fast for me. Is it really January 2017? Week ago it was October, isn't it??? Nevermind. :) I am a wanderer never exhausted of new adventures so this time me and my friends packed our backpacks and travelled to... Riga :D I know that it's not on the bucket list of most travellers, but we went there for an European Meeting called TAIZE. It's a meeting of young people from Europe which pray togheter. Brothers of Taize are an ecumenical community. When we go on holiday we stay in varous places, this time we stayed in Latvian school. It was very beautiful time, we were volonteers so we helped to welcome normal partecipants of Taize meeting. We meet two fantasting girls from Germany: Coco and Julia and a lot of people from the Netherland and Belgium. It was time full of joy and passion.Every year I try to spend my New Year's Eve in another country partecipating to Taize meeting. And next year our destination will be Switzerland! T...

Well, scottish trip was just crazy :)  Today I want to present other beautiful places that we were able to visit :)  *Museum of Scoltand* Formed in 2006, with free entrance, definitely one of my favourite museums! It contains history of Scotland, but also a lot of important artefacts. I enjoyed a lot a part with cultures of the world (engaging!). *Calton Hill* Another hill in Edinburg, much more turistic than Arthur's Peak and not so impressive. However, it has one big advantage, it is situated just in the center of Edinburgh, so it took as 10 minutes to climb it :) It is location of the observatory and some other monuments.  *Christmas Market* Full of joy, laughts and hot chocolate. I've never seen so crowded Christmas market. We've had a really wonderful time and we dare to a big and veeeeeeeeeeery high carousel, views were awsome, but fear was a big stronger so I really wanted it to finish. This idea was so spontaneous and awsome! My friend called me that she had found a cheap flight to Edinburgh so why not to travel there...  The idea was diffrent than always. And our squad was diffrent then usually. We travelled in 6: me, my sister Agata, my mummy, Zosia - my friend, Tosia (her sister and friend of my sister) and aunt Bożena (mother of Zosia and Tosia).  The biggest surprise was absolutely our house. My mother had found an offer in Airbnb in the center of Edinburgh (in St James Squere), so we decided that it was the best option. And you know what.... In spite of not so beautiful photos on the website, this small flat was more than awsome. It was breathtaking. I think it was the best I've ever lived in during my travels. All 3  bedrooms where in the scottish style and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed a lot the welcome bottle of wine and fresh flowers in all bedrooms. Well, our host James really knows how to take care of his guests.  ...

A.Gaudi The best thing in Barcelona is definitely ... architecture. I really love nature, beautiful views, culture of Spain. Generally speaking, I have never EVER seen a place with so many marvelous buildings. I think it's all because of modernisme and one of the most illustious architects of Barcelona is Antonio Gaudi. Gaudí devoted his life entirely to his profession, so as a consequence we can now admire his buildings which are artworks.  Sagrada Família Apparently, the first artwork we wanted to see was Sagrada Familia. Despite the fact that Sagrada is incomplete it's UNESCO World Heritage. Well, I am not surprised why. the basilica is just awsome. You look at it's facade and you go into raptures. We decided not to enter inside because of a huge queue.(Next time maybe we will enter :)) Park Guell The next stop was also worth seeing. Barcelona is always a good idea. Even in November. After holidays (I was working as a tour leader in Italy) and after September (I was writing my thesis) I was utterly exhausted. I definitely needed holidays. We were looking for some cheap flights and finally we got some. Firstly, I have to admit that Barcelona is absolutely gorgeous. I was in Barceona 10 years ago, but I didn't remember anything. The biggest suprise was spanish modernism. Of course, I had that consiousness about Antonio Gaudi, but I didn't expect that he was such a big genius! My first post from Barcelona I would like to dedicate specially to Sant Pau Art Nouveau. I've seen a lot of places but I think that it was my favourtie one. (The second place goes tooooo.......... Casa Batllo - I hope I will write about it in another post), So why did Sant Pau Art Noveau inspire me so much? Because it was empty! All tourists visit Sagrada Familia and Park Guell but only few of them know this hospital.  ...

Oh yeah! I definitely needed a break from this autumnal, overwhelming atmosphere. With my lovely family we spent a nice weekend in Góry Sowie (Owl Mountains) in the Central Sudetes. Well, I've never been there before so I was rather curious about this trip. I have to admit that I really enjoyed time with my brothers, my sis and my parents.  What interesting did we do? Frankly speaking, we played board games, we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we ate a lot of piergoi ruskie and kluski śląskie and of course we did a lot of walks in the forests. We visited grodno Castle and the complexes of Project Reise (it is an underground structure which was an project of Nazi Germany).  And on Sunday we went to the top-most peak of the Owl Mountains called Great Owl. The landscape was breathtaking because of hoar frost which is not so common. I was feeling like in that movie "Frozen" or like in the kingdom of The Snow Queen (from the fairytale of Andersen).  On...
